First leg of the semi finals of the European Championship. Being a Man Utd supporter, I couldn't miss the match and put off going to Tombstone to watch it.
I made friends with a manager called Lindsay who worked in a bar called Buffalo Wings & Rings. She told me they would be able to screen the game for me as it was on ESPN 2.
It kicked off at 11.45am over here and it seemed like a perfect time to go to the pub, nice and early so could get several bevvys in.
The game was not a let down and I even managed to get some of the punters in there to say football instead of soccer. Yanks are obviously very fickle :)
Job done, half cut and back to the apartment a couple of hours later. I will be back for the 2nd leg next week!
