Up at 5.30am in the freezing bloody cold, had breaky and off we go in the car again. We first stopped at some ancient town ruins in the middle of no where, its dated back to when the Spaniards took over, they used to mine here but not anymore as the legend goes the devil lives there, I believe that as it was sooooo effing cold!! There was a build up of ice all over the ground and it had snowed there days before. All the walls of the city were knocked down due to the people looking for left behind treasure possibly buried in the walls. It was pretty cool to see but I didn't get many pics as I was trying to save my camera battery as today we will see many things. We got to stop for a swim in some hot springs along the way. We saw some amazing lakes that are different colours, green, red, white all because of the minerals in the water. It was a long day driving but my spirits lifted high when I got to see the beauty around us, the pictures will tell a better story than me…

Wonderful scenery, love the Flamingos. Its hard to believe its cold, reminds me of Namibia a bit without the lakes of course. How hot are the geasers can the steam burn?
