After the thrill of yesterday’s park trip we go for day #2. It is an exponentially more painful experience but very satisfying none the less.

Being our last day in Praha, we only have a limited amount of time to try the local delicacy so where else to we lunch at but our fave bar which has an extensive Czech menu. Even the bar girl is laughing at how often we’re in there... sigh.

We had seen a bunch of customers order a mini rotisserie which looked amazing so we follow suit - it seems to be one of the main local dishes around town and this pork knee, marinated in dark beer is absolutely sensational. Tender, tasty and juicy. Mm mm, carnivore’s delight. Sweetheart says one of the best meals he’s ever had. I might have to agree.

Another trip to the Charles Bridge to see the Bridge Band (look them up - awesome) and happily they are there today,  their merry sounds wafting across the busy bridge and down the river. Sitting in the sunlight and breeze, surrounded by a beautiful city and being entertained by such a sweet band made for a lovely afternoon.

Home for nap (me) and air crash investigations (Gary) and out for our last evening in Praha. After dinner at a little tucked away pizza joint, we figure we should go for one final drink at Zombie Bar but... I sort of insist that we walk past the thai massage/foot eating fish place on the way as I’ve been obsessed with the idea of those little fish since I saw you could do it somewhere in Sharm el Shiekh. As luck had it, it wasn’t too expensive and they had availability so into the window I went, feet in the tank and, as i assumed would happen, they went nuts. Of course, Gary did not like the idea of sitting in a shop window with his feet being nibbled on by 100’s of fish in a tank so he stood outside to watch and laugh along with the passers by that ‘were in hysterics’ at my expense. Indeed! It was worth it though, so so very relaxing. Am going to look into importing them and setting up a whole body tank in the backyard.

Zombie Bar full of drunk idiots so quiet bevvy at the Irish pub near home and back for a nice, soothing, relaxing 4.5 hour sleep ahead of our 12.5 hour train journey tomorrow. Dear god.
