Another early morning and we were each off to our respected vocations for half of the day. Camille and Natalie went off to the Glenleg Shire Council where they spoke with employees related to their profession. James shadowed Bruce, a local chef at the Edwards Waterfront Restaurant. John spent his part of the day with Peter, and employee of the Portland Sustainability Group. And of course the one who seems to be having all the fun, Rachel spent her time with veterinarian Ann, who works at the Portland Vet Clinic.

After afternoon tea, we went and visited the wharf where we all learned about the fishing and tree/paper industries of Portland. Luckily the group was led by a retired fisherman, so the team got an in depth look of the all the activities that take place there. Afterwards, the team was able to visit Porland Strawberry Farm, Treloar Roses, Alexander's Organic Apple Orchards, and also a local vineyard.

Rachel, I miss you dearly but this is a great experience for you. I am really glad you got to this even though I miss you a lot. You look great Rach, I can't wait to see and hear everything you have to tell. I'm so excited!
Natalie, Thanks for keeping up with this blog! You "all" are so busy with your everyday schedules. How cool is this? I enjoy keeping up with this blog, the posts and of course the photos, so please keep them coming. (in your spare time of course!) :-)
Everyone always looks like they're having such a great time and seeing such neat things. Take care everyone!
