We are now approximately 33 days away from leaving for adventure to Guatemal. I hope everyone is excited for this life changing experience. Now is the time for trip preparations! Time to get those malaria prevention prescriptions filled!

Oh yes, malaria pills and thyroid shots. Wish they made one that lasted 5-10 years instead of two! Seems like I just had that shot. I'm really excited about seeing a different part of the country this year...a COOLER part of Guatemala. Yea! I hope the sunsets are just as beautiful as those we saw on Lake Peten Itza. I'm also really excited about getting to know all the new team members and our new family!
Oops, thinking of my dog's thyroid meds....Meant to say Typhoid!
Just a little FYI... the Typhoid vaccination (shot form) is only good for two years but if you get the Oral Typhoid Vaccination form it is good for five (5) years.
Thanks! I've heard of that and thought I would ask for it this time. Don't know if they offer it at the Navy clinic.
