Where I stayed
I spent a couple of hours this morning just cleaning up my clothes and typing up my blogs, still not done though, am not even half way through. Now it is time to head into the city to meet Libbee, who has wonderfully written instructions out for me, although the internet crashed before I got a chance to read them right through, grrr.
Well that was an experience and a half. First I got onto the wrong train, going the wrong way, at the wrong station. Instead of getting on at East Putney, I got on the over ground at Putney. So I ended up at Waterloo, but that is fine, every one of these stations seems to interlink together, and Waterloo has an underground.
So I then caught the tube to Bank and onto Liverpool Street Station (Monopoly). It is here I am to meet Libbee in an hour or so. I just walked around the block and am now sitting in McDonalds (Sorry Gerry) where they have people walking around collecting rubbish because there are no rubbish bins around the stations anymore. There is even rubbish piled up on the streets because there are no bins there either.
I keep seeing people from my tour, not the actual people but I keep thinking that I am seeing people. I keep waiting for Gerry to pop out of nowhere and tell me off for being late or getting lost, but no, that is all over now.
I am feeling a little, maybe a lot, emotional at the moment, not sure why but maybe a combination of the tour ending and it a bit of monthly issues. But I seem to be tearing up at the drop of the hat and for no apparent reason.
How do you know if you have a soulmate? Someone out there just for you? How do you know who that person is? Is it worth putting your heart out there for all to see, when there is a risk it could get torn into tiny little pieces. And what if you let an opportunity pass that you shouldn't have? Yes I am having reflection moment. Is it possible to travel around the world and leave your heart there when you go home?
I was supposed to have bought my train ticket before meeting Libbee, but didn't realize that so when she met me we had to line up to get my ticket with about 10 minutes to spare before the train leaves. We made it by about 10 seconds. We are now here at Stansted Airport waiting for a flight to Dublin, which has been delayed.
So our flight wasn't delayed after all, and we arrive in Dublin at around 8.20pm. I got another stamp in my passport. Then we got on a bus for the city centre and our hostel. Yes I am staying in a Hostel.
We are in a 12 bed shared room and this will be very interesting. I have never had to share like this before. We are going to go and have a drink before sitting the sack.
Oh my goodness some guy got smacked around by another buy with a crutch...
Drinks were fun. We found this cute little bar that had live Irish music. So we sat there for an hour or so and now off to bed.
I can't believe that yesterday I was in Paris and today I am in Dublin.
You know you love me
