Day 11, TTEE 2008.  Paris sightseeing

This morning we did a 2 hour driving tour and orientation of Paris with Martine, our local tour guide.  This was wonderful, we got to see everything today and even get pictures which was great.
Then it was off to the Louvre for our excursion.  The Louvre is magnificent but I was very disappointed because I didn't get to see the exhibitions or anything that I wanted too, but that is ok, I still got t go in and see some wonderful things, including the Mona Lisa, although it looks the same as every picture I have ever seen of it.
Now we are on our way out of Paris city to Versailles, where we will have lunch, walk and sit in he gardens and then Martine will walk us through the castle, which was home to Louis XIV, XV & XVI.  I am told this Castle / Palace is amazing, let me be the judge of that.
I must admit I really did enjoy Versailles.  The gardens were spectacular, although we didn't get a long time in the gardens themselves, we spent about 15-20 minutes just waiting for the bathrooms.  Which was only 2 toilets and they were shared between male and female.  We then walked through the Palace which was amazing, I saw where Marie Antoinette lived and slept.  To think people actually lived there, what a thought, to live in a palace.  I could handle it for sure.
Tonight, our last night on tour, I can't believe that it has come around so quickly, it sucks.
Oh yeah, driving home from Versailles, we actually drove through the tunnel where Princess Diana had her fatal car accident.
Tonight we are off to the Cabaret, I have a dress and make up for tonight, look out, I am ready to party.
Before I get into what happened this evening, I have to mention these awful butterfly feeling that I seem to be having whenever Gerry is around (I actually wrote this, so I had to enter it).
What a wonderful night.  The dinner and Cabaret were superb.  Sun an awesome night, so Moulin Rouge hehehe.  Something everyone needs to do and see when in Paris.  The bus ride back to the hotel, now that was interesting.  I kinda had a dance in the aisle, now I have to remind you that I have just been to a Parisan Cabare where the dancing and outfits are quite risqué.  So the dancing that I did in the bus driving back was also a little risqué, I am glad that the bus wasn't full and that the people on the bus could handle my little outburst.  Although I Kinda wish that I hadn't, I hate that Gerry saw that side of me.
Now we are back at the hotel having drinks in Ed and Sandy's room with Jason, Marella, Kristie and Gerry.  A very late night.  It is about 1am and I so need to go to sleep and sleep a lot.
You know you love me
