I did it. I actually drove the car here in Finland and man was that an experience. Thank goodness it was only a short drive from the shops to home, and the road was a divided road the entire way back, otherwise I would have been in trouble. I mean I kept going to change gears with my left hand anyway and driving on the right hand side of the road was interesting. MMM Maybe I should get Lauree to let me drive once more before I leave.
So today we spent the day in Tampere shopping, it was nice and it is cheap to buy things here, if you don't worry about the conversion rate. I just wont buy anything over a certain amount just yet, wanna try and keep some money for shopping in Milan, where I would be willing to sell my house for a pair of shoes or a handbag, but lets just see. Maybe even something at the Diamond cutting place in Amsterdam, mmm, will let you know.
Well am off now to veg out, do a sudoku, seeing as i have read all the books I wanted too, 3 books in less than 2 weeks, what a nerd....
Yes a short one, but had to let you all know that I drove here and didn't crash.
Maybe we should go and buy some wine, one more country to try, have done Chile and Argentina White wines, Chile and Australian reds. Yeah Lauree lets do that...
