It was so good to finally come home, this was the longest I've ever been gone by a wide margin. I hope I don't have to do more stints that long again. Once I got moved into my new apartment and got all my things sorted out Karla and I tool a little vacation to Las Vegas for my birthday. I turned 25 so I could finally rent a car, it ended up being Karla's dream car, a blue VW bug convertible. I'm just glad it was a convertible because the weather and scenery was just what I needed after being away for so long. Our trip consisted of four days in Vegas and three in Lofland, south by about an hour. We also took a day trip out to see the Hoover dam. Another highlight of the trip was seeing O in the Bellagio, it left me saying, "oh?" that's for sure. a very....um....interesting show.
