The band got to perform on a navy base, at Sea World, we marched in a balloon parade, and of course the holiday bowl itself, which was very exciting but disappointing when we lost in the last 30 seconds. If we would have won that game, none of the waiting would have mattered, but I guarantee that if you asked any one of us at the end of that trip, we would have said that we felt like we wasted three days of our lives. looking back on it, I guess it wasn't that bad with nice weather, I got to hang out with my girlfriend, per diem. I just remember my feelings at the time were hostile and dejected.
