I did a survey with the Army Corps of Engineers. We were surveying the channel out of Gulfport, MS so that they could re-dredge and move the channel to the west. I was in charge of running the SIS 1500 and Richard McGee was running the subbottom profiler. The corps was also running a single beam echosounder. When I arrived on the Gulf shore It looked like I had stepped strainght into the movie Forest Gump. "They was shrimpin' boats everywheres".
