On the day of April 24th, I woke up early very excited for what was going to bea special evening. I was going to be accepting the grant and so I prepared a small speech. I was nervous but excited at the same time. As 5 p.m. approached I got ready and drove to the Reebok HeadQuarters alone to assure that I was on time, but more importantly because the wait was killing me. As I arrived to Reebok I was greeted at the door by two gentlemen who directed me upstairs. I remember walking in and saying to myself, "wow this place looks amazing". I greeted Lindsey and Justin and was very excited to meet the Board of Directors. After that the night went as smoothly as I could have asked for it to. To this day I have never had a more special evening in my life. I remember mingling with folks while admiring all the great auction items that were on display. I was happy to be able to spend that great evening with friends and family.
