Our alcohol supply is running low, so we are rapidly heading north back to Spain. I haven't driven at all in Morocco, but now that Mum has gone, suddenly I am allowed back behind the wheel. So we shared the driving today, actually I did the majority, because I was allowed to do the easy empty motorway bits and Dad took over when it got slightly tricky, for example, navigating ourselves around Rabat and Sale, attempting to find our campsite. When we came across it we decided to drive on, because it was so dire. It was situated in the middle of a construction site, was completely deserted with the majority of its facilities smashed up and unusable. We drove for another couple of hours to Asilah. On the way the police stopped us, but luckily I was driving so we weren't fined this time, I think he was just bored and wanted a chat. We arrived in Asilah and found a campsite that doesn't look much better than Sale. However this time the town looks like a nice place to spend a day or so, it reminds me slightly of Chefchaouen. It's a small walled town, very laidback, next to the sea, with all the buildings whitewashed and doors and window frames colourfully painted in shades of blue, purple and turquoise.
