After putting the finishing touches to my new recipie book Anna and I headed back to Utica station. The train was only 25 minutes late which apparently was pretty good. I got a good seat next to a window and settled down for the eight and a half hour journey to Boston.
New England is stunning. I loved every minute of my journey (while the sun was up and I could see out the window). Most of the view was woodland but every so often though the trees I could see a lake or a stream. The countryside looks like such a fantastic place to grow up and explore.
I got to Boston South Station only ten minutes late and caught a taxi to go and eat dinner with my parents.
Long day though I haven't got much to write!
