Today was pretty lovely. Lloyd had to go to a couple of lectures and do some teaching so I just hung around campus. I sat in the dappled sunshine beneath the trees and read 'American Gods' and watched 'North and South' on my phone. Blissful.

Go in the evening which was pretty fun. I got soundly thrashed by Lloyd with five stones but beat someone else in an even game (she was around 6k). Everyone was really nice and I even met someone who played go and was an arts student (English).

You're definitely in the right part of the world, Megan. If I had a travel blog, today's entry would have read:

"Sat in the grey, gloomy British 'sunshine' in the pouring rain, sitting under a tree that looked a little worse for wear, and almost got fried to a crisp by a nearby lighting strike!"

Oh dear...brief Eyore moment from me there! Anyway, 1 win, 1 lose at Go seems fair enough...and you totally let Lloyd win, right? ;-)
