the other day we were sitting in a park just lax'n when this huge German sat across from us and munged down a huge loaf of strassburg as thick as your arm.Berlin is a really nice place to visit. The odd bullet wound on the corners of some buildings but that just adds to the charm.We went out to a Nazis death camp to see what the victims of the war went through,and the check point Charlie museum to see the multitude of ways east Germans fled over the wall into the west.The atmosphere of the city was awesome for the world cup, lots of tourists, but Berlin's big enough to accommodate such crowds. Its really hot over here!.....Really hot! It's like...in the low 30s! We haven't felt that blistering chill of a Victorian winter for so long, you guys are so lucky.
