Where I stayed
Risto:
After a bit lazy wake-up from a hazy saloon night we moved on up north along the coastal road with nice views. Right after Cambria we found a bunch of funny looking elephant seals enjoying the warmth of the California beach. It was actually a chilly weather but apparently itīs warmer to lay on the sand than to swim in the sea. We drove through Big Sur, which unfortunately was covered in a thick fog so we missed some of the best views, Monterrey which seemed quite boring for us, so we finished our day to Santa Cruz, a lively student city. We checked out the beach and the downtown and had some good time bowling till late at night.
