Myself, Gregor and 2 of his friends (Črt and Jernej) went on a weekend trip to the seacoast to enjoy the last of the sunshine before Winter hits us hard. It's about 1.5 hours from Izlake (Gregor's hometown). We left early in the morning to make the most of the day there. It was beautiful sunshine and with temperatures of at least 20 degrees. We stumbled across a Farmer's Day weekend in which we encountered some entertainment with people dressed in medieval times dancing and a tent filled with wine, cheese, olive oil and honey tasting... yes of course I tried but not purchased =p A petting zoo was in the next tent where I saw my first ever Vietnamese Pig. It's really an ugly, grey and fat pig that didn't move. Probably cos it couldn't! Tractors of all types and sizes were on display. Everything to do with farms and farming you could find it right there.

We then took a walk along the water, of course the water was too cold for me to go for a swim as I'm such a woos with things like that. It has to be Australian Summer weather for me to go for a dip! It was a rocky coast so we rock skipped and juggled while soaking up the warmth of the sun. Oh and of course many handstands were involved! I did one on the edge of the jetty and a tourist couple was so impressed they wanted a photo with me! My 5 seconds of fame =p

Anyways we later went to watch a girls handball match which was my first one apart from the Ollerup games. And damn they are rough, not just the players but the coaches and the crowd were going crazy! The coaches were screaming at the top of their lungs to the girls and some people in the crowd were screaming at the ref, girls, coaches... I don't know.... at everything! It was rough, also didn't help that we were in a very echoy court. I'm interested to see what the boys handball games are like. It ended up being a bit of a sports day... straight after handball we went to watch Črt play basketball. It was a very close game but unfortunately his team lost. A much nicer sport to watch, not so much abuse!

We went back to the apartment to have a burger and homemade pancakes (by Črt) to fill up our bellies before heading out to Planet Tuš. A bowling/night club place. We finally got there at 11.30pm and played an hour of bowling. As you all know my bowling really sucks so Gregor was my coach giving me some tips... ended up with 1 strike and a couple of spares! not bad... we went to the lounges to continue drinking our beer from a 3L pipe thing (they call it a giraffe... what do we call it??) and listen to the music. There still wasn't a lot of people yet but by the time we hit the dance floor and 2am came around the place was packed! There were so many people and the dj was really good. We danced like never before! I haven't danced like I did that night for a very long time. It was so much fun. We ended the night at 4am! What a night... a great night! A great way to end the seacoast trip. =D
