With Yellowstone behind us we rode east about 300 miles to the great little (historical)western town of Sheridan, Wyoming, Population 13,102. Stayed at the Sheridan KOA and did the tour of all the Western shops including Kings Ropes and tack where they make lasso ropes for real ropers! They also have a big museum in the back across the alley from the shop and it is filled with lierally thousands of antique saddles.
This night we had a great steak dinner at the Old historical Sheridan Inn right on the railroad tracks. It was built in the 1800's and Supposedly Buffalo Bill owned it for awhile and stayed here with some of the members of his travelling western show.
We unfortunately did not take alot of pics but I will upload one of a roadside forest fire we saw on the drive over.
On to Mount Rushmore in South Dakota next.....
