"Sweet Little" Trudy ATTACKED poor D.J. at the first meeting in a rest area. DJ is ok- a scratch over the eye.
We were pleasently surprised at the facilities at the Poche Plantation. Take a look at the pics. We hiked up the levee across the street to see the mighty Mississip and then made Alan go back and get the jeep and come pick us up!! Great outdoorsmen huh?
More later- we are now just arriving Galvaston Island State Park and it is gorgeous and windy - I'm gonna go fly my kite!!

you've had 28 visitors to your blog so far and I have to confess--I've logged 20 of them! I kept expecting ya'll would've been 'on the road' by now and NOTHING!
