So, I have just about two days left before I'm headed to Rome and it's just now starting to feel real to me.  All of the anxiousness and excitement I've hidden for the past few months is finally spilling out. Before, I was downplaying the culture differences between Italy and America and now it seems to be all I can focus on (not necessarily in a negative way). 
Different language, different customs... different types of flirtatiousness. I'm definitely in for a treat. Que sera, sera!

To give everyone a heads up: I'll be without a phone for most of the trip so HOPEFULLY I'll keep this site as up-to-date as possible. (But you know me, so keep an eye out for snail mail!)
