Hello, or as I've become acustomed to saying these days.... Buenos Diaz compadres !!
To my mum, thank you so much for your post on the blog, it was lovely to hear from you, & I'm missing you so much. I'm very impressed that you can now use the internet !!!
To Carl, perhaps I should be using facebook, you may be able to comunicate with your mother more, Hope you are ok boy, & not racking up any points on your licence !!!
To Gayle & Kathy, Hope all horses are behaving, & staying where they've been put. I know it.s been wet & miserable over there, so hope the ground holds up till I get back.
I know you are taking good care of the stock..... you are amazing, thank you.
Now then, to my wonderfull daughters......You are doing an amazing job of looking after the house & Sarah with the aversion therapy involving horses.
I always knew that your upbringing would give you the stregnth of character, that would enable you to cope with what ever life, or indeed your mother, could throw at you !!
I am having an amazing time out here on the ranch, you are right about cow & horse shit, but hey ho! I think I have found my ( yet another) calling, & have decided to stay, untill such time as a Wrangler kennel can be installed at home.
Hannah, you are doing such a great job with the house thing, that I think I will just send you my washing home, & you can return it to me, clean & ironed of course, along with the rent for the house ( rates according tosupervisory position obtained, & 'Rs in the month - negoitiable )
I have met a lovely man called pedro, & have decided that, along with his seven children, two goats, sixteen chickens & a mule callled MURPHY, I have met my one true love !!
You are welcome to visit me of course...
Reeboks ( in whatever condition ) are very highly prized here, & can be used as currency, but only if you wiill accept donkeys as change, although the exchange rate pro rata donkey for camel is not as good as in Turkey.
He has an interesting recipie that could involve the Staffy's though, so that may preserve the Reeboks
Glad to hear that you are ( again ) taking your health seriously, by quitting smoking & becoming an alchoholic, & that my favourite son - in -laws aim , with the dog bed has improved. ( Working with those weights has paid off !)
I am going to say goodnight now, as I have to take a little walk with Pedro & Murphy, which involves sitting under a highway underpass for a few hours, untill a man with a lorry & torches meets us with a few of Pedros friends, then were off to a party involving green cards & Tequilla.
Love to all & Buenos Noches Senoritas. Mum xx
Sorry everyone, we were going to tell you about our day, but we have overdone it somewhat on tequila and boiled eggs (we decided not to slaughter a goat) celebrating Tracey's engagement to Pedro! Murphy did look nice, all decked out in flower garlands.
Love from all, hic.....hic.....
