Where I stayed
and now we are in Puerto. This place is absoluetly gorgeous. It is about 9 hours East of Acapulco. It is as hot but not as muggy and with less tourists. Its a sleepy little town with a population of about 20,000 and some of the best beaches we have seen so far.
We are staying at a hostel called Tower Bridge, owned by some crazy British bloke who spends his days yelling at his dog Blackie and trawling the streets looking for tourists to lure into his hostel. So pretty much 90% of the time there is no one at the hostel other than us two and all the other backpackers. The rooms are cool, small bungalows with a huge king bed, a shower, a toilet and most importantly a fridge for out el cheapo corona's!
As with Acapulco, most of our time has been spent kicking back at the beach, fishing amd swimming with turtles. Happy Days!
Tonight we are off to San Cristobal (12 hours by bus) then to Palenuqe before making our way to Cancun to catch our flight to Cuba.
Stay tuned.....
