Cuenca is Ecuador's third largest city, with great colonial architecture and lots of restaurants.  We had gone from our very worst hotel experience to our best so far.  Amen to hot water!!!  We felt safe and enjoyed authentic Mexican food for the first time since leaving Denver.  Yvonne got to shop the markets, and Karlton got his first shave with a straight razor at a barber shop.
