Bike ride to an island???

On the weekend, my colleague Kevin and I decided to ride our bikes out to the ocean....to our surprise, we were actually able to bike out to an ISLAND. Pretty neat. The island we got too is part of the Dongtou archipelago just past the mouth of the Ou river, in the East China Sea. To get there we crossed a bridge onto Lingkun Island, and from that island is a 15 km causeway that meets up with the archipelago. Had we had more time, we could have continued to other islands as they are all connected by bridges. Pretty neat. I actually didn't take many pictures on this trip, and we never had time to explore the island, so nothing too special to show here. The east side of the islands look much more picturesque from photos I have seen, so perhaps we will go there again soon. Talk to you all soon I hope!

Second try........... first try went off into cyberspace someplace! so will repeat..... I am suprised how modern the buildings are! And wow, that Trade Center, I sure wouldn't want to wash the windows on that thing! (of course I rarely wash the windows on anything! lol) Your pictures are really good, of course.... Helen
