I've run 11.25 miles since the last entry and I'm somewhere in OH. The map says Rush but it's really hard to tell what's around here. I'm still homing in on Gambier OH. I passed by Tippecanoe OH. This was the site of a battle around 1810 where future president Harrison led an army against Tecumseh and his brother The Prophet who were gathering followers and taught that turning away from European settler's ways would curry favor with God and lead to the defeat of the American army. While Tecumseh was away recruiting other Native Americans, The Prophet rallied for a pre-dawn attack on the Americans which was repelled after heavy casualties on both sides. But this led to the disillusionment of the Native Americans in The Prophet and effectively ended their military campaign.
