Delhi was cold. About 21degrees. We were in a nice hotel, sort of like a travelodge but some people still complained. We got there in the evening so ordered room service for dinner and we had a TV!
The next day we spent sight seeing. We went to the red fort, the biggest mosque in India, Gandhi's cremation site and another ruined temple, which had a tower that leaned to the left. It also had an iron rod that was 1600 years old and had not corroded. It was a long day.
Delhi was more like Colombo than Mumbai I would say. We also got to go on a cycle rickshaw through the backstreet's of old Delhi which were full of Japanese tourists with there big SLRs and telescopic lens taking photos of everything!
Our guide keeps insisting it is not safe to eat at most places, only where he says - the most expensive places! He picks them in the middle of nowhere so we cant go anywhere else! Most of the people on the tour are retired so a different crowd than we've been used to. All nice though I think. There's this nutty American women who keeps buying everything! lol
