First day in Arambol we met a man with three thumbs!
We stayed in Arambol for two weeks. Everybody remembered Sy from two years ago! Beach sellers, the guy in the CD shop and bar staff. Arambol is much the same as it was 2 years ago, chilled out and lots of Russians in skimpy speed o's. There are a few more bars opened up along the beach but it is still quiet.
We stayed at the same place we stayed at last time. It had the same broken bed, broken toilet and dangerous shower as last time!
It was nice to see the raving loons are still there smiling into space and shouting into thin air about wanting to go space trucking.
We got sick of saying to people;e we are from england so Sy decided to tell a guy he was Swedish! Well it just so happened that his brother lives in Sweden and he started listing off cities and places in Sweden asking whether Sy had been to any. He just had to say he's never been!
We got a taxi with this guy we met, Sean, to the market on Wednesday. It was busy and there was a lot of police and army there.
Apart from that we didn't do much as I was ill for a few days. We met some nice guys who worked at one of the bars. They were very funny. At another bar there was some giant rats so we didn't eat there again!
The night before we left the children from the local school came down to the beach and sang some Christmas songs which was nice.

Great to hear from you. The photos are great. Will you go to Butterfly Beach or Green Island now you have moved on?
By the way the king is in hibernation.
We wish we were there. It is freezing here!
Take care -especially of showers.
