Our ferry ride to party gay central was as smooth & on schedule as our flight had been. Unfortunately, we found it difficult to flag down a taxi (due to there being a lack of) upon arrival at the port to take us to our well-chosen apartment. However, we were fortunate to have this random cute-looking local Greek guy offer us a lift in the rental car his client had returned.

Of course, whenever there's a cute/hot guy about, the charm automatically switches on. Moreover, one forgets about the dangers of getting into a stranger's car!! (Kids don't do what we did!). You can't say I didn't try but unfortunately our journey in the car was too short to confirm any rendezvous with cutie boy *cheek*

We pretty much hit the town as soon as we arrived. We checked out the late night shopping & local club scene. Mind you, some clubs didn't open until 2am, the same time when some of the shops closed! We being the old "grannies" that we were could only manage to party until about 2:30am. The night was actually quite tame - being chatted up by a couple of locals, italians & americans. Unfortunately, we were too interested & amused by the hot pole-dancers to pay any attention to any guys..keke Probably the wildest thing that happened was Pris's breast being horned (using one of those party sound horn) by the hyperactive bartender mixing our drinks.

The rest of the time spend in Mykonos involved driving around the island checking out beach spots, swimming at some and visiting the local sightseeing spots. We have to pat Elaine on the back for her skillful manouvers through narrow roads while dodging motor scooters & quad bikes. Also, it was a good thing that one of us drove on that side of the road! When our 2 days were up, we were ready to leave the paradise party island for something more quiet and relaxing.
