Hi you-all (yawl) After 4 flights which seemed to last forever, landed on time 32 hours later at Nashville 10.20 pm Monday. Put up in a flash hotel for the night before driving north to meet our hosts at the Galatin RC (20 miles N of Nashville). Immediatleyl we were met with the unbelievable hospitality. People (once you get used to the drawl) are very similar to us, independent folk, committed to be happy, in control of their community and always with incredibly genteel manners. Visited Galatin Hs , Roy Orbison's house, Johnny Cash ect, saw where the torbado (7 days previously ) has ripped through Galatin and Hendersonville,. Every meal from breakfast to dinner so far we have had in a restaurant Tennessee style (mexican, italian, traditional, ect,...)Last night we were taken to dinner at Mortons in Nashvillle (very flash and famous steakhouse) before vbeing picked up by the Rotary Club of Frankin (20 miles south of Nashvile) Today i vsited Franklin High , Middle College and Battle Ground Academy (private)

We have put on two presentations (Tues at breakfast) and today at lunchtime (they all seemed to love it, but because they are sooooo well mannaered you would never know otherwise)

Off to a charity fundraiser tonight (in 1 hour) held by the local huge hospital Williamson County Hospital where wine from the Napa Valley (california) will be in unlimited supply ...

We'awl finding the pace very hectic and we'awl are very tired, but we'awl coping well.

Tomorrow we are handed over to our third rotary club in 4 days and a differnet bed to sleep in. The locals are so commiteed to showing us everyting it is bloody hard to keep track of what's going on, let alone what you did several hours ago.
