Well we've made it round the world and it's been the best experience of our lives. We counted 20 plane rides to do it and numerous buses and trains not to mention the unusual forms of transport to get us from one point to the next, in our opinion you've not lived until you've ridden on the back of a pickup truck with the wind and dust blowing in your face. Katie is now a converted motor bike rider so who knows where that will take us in the future!

All in all we've been very lucky, we didn't have anything stolen none of our trains, buses or planes were late and we crossed most borders without too many problems, and you always know it's a good day if you managed to avoid getting shot in some of the places we visited.

To pre-empt the questions, Canada, we both agree was our favourite first world country and KT liked Thailand best whilst it was Vietnam for me. We've met so many interesting and friendly people around the world some of which we do hope to stay in touch with, if only to get a bed for the night around the world!

Looking at some of the pictures now it feels that we started this adventure so long ago as some of the countries feel like a distant memory that's rekindled when you look at a picture, fortunately it does comes flooding back. The trip does feel as if it was done in two parts i.e. South East Asia being one trip then the rest being another. I think it's the fact that the US through to Aus all have similar traits (to the UK) whilst also still being unique to themselves, it's the fact that you can go to these countries and still remain within your comfort zone. Then you hit Asia and everything changes, the comfort zone starts to disappear and you find yourself doing things you never thought possible.

So what now? Well were not sure ourselves, unfortunately we will have to work if only to get the money together to go again. Would we do it again? Without a doubt, any regrets? None, the best drunk decision we've ever made.

So to our friends still out there, happy travels and to our friends back home, your buying we're skint.

Bye
Simon & Katie
