Thats right the adventure sports have started up again with a jump of a bridge.

There are three or four choices of bungy jump ranging from just short of 40m to 134m. We plucked for a 43m jump for the scenery and the fact that it's the original full time bungy site (not because we couldn't stomach 134m!!).

We were pilled into a van and driven for 20mins to the site. The atmosphere on the bus was quiet. One can only assume people were psyching themselves up for the jump either that or making piece with there maker!

KT and I had done Rock, Siccor paper to see who out of the two of us was to go first, as we both wanted too. She won, however it meant nothing when we go the site as I was told by AJ Hackett crew that I was going first. Oh well.

"Come over here onto the platform" he told me that was dangling of the edge of the bridge. I was sat down and a towel was wrapped around my ankles. A TOWEL for Christ sake, whats that all about. Bungy attached with a few carabinas and a shuffle towards the edge.

A quick look down a count of 1 2 3 Bungy and nothing happened! 'come on fella' was said behind. ok lets do this i thought, the second count and I was off, I can fly. Way hey. Falling towards earth both kt and I wondered when the line would snap in, thank goodness it did and with three or four bounces it was all over too quickly. A good thrill with a great ground rush.

KT was next to go. I had been rescued by the boat and taken to dry land so I could watch her go. You could tell she was well pumped, she had no hesitation she was off 'no point in thinking about it just go' she said afterwards. She screamed with joy as she went, a cheer from the crowd and she had shown all the lads that were to go afterwards how to do it. Good on you girl!

A few people were very hesitant. One lad had purchased to do this jump then go onto the Nevis 134m. However they had to litteraly pry his fingers off the bars for him to go, he was stood on the edge for more than 5 mins sh@%ting himself then finally with some coaxing from the crowd he went. I talked to him afterwards and it seems dubious as to whether he will do the Nevis!!!

What now, thats the question, skydiving, Bungy, Blackwater rafting, power boating, Horse riding, Absailing, Climbing, campervan rallying what can we do next to thrill ourselves into uncontrollable adrenalin overdrive?

If you have the answer let us know, WE NEED MORE.
