Well another big breakfast. french toast, Canadian Ham and oranges & Bannanas. Of course it was all soaked in syrup and butter and sugar etc. If our hosts keep going at this rate we wont be leaving Phili.

Today as yesterday was a very sedate pace, unlike the previous week. We got into the City about 12ish and headed straight to the rocky steps. After the obligatory run to the top and the jump in the air we caught our breath for pictures (unfortunately there was no Rocky music to inspire us). At the top of the step we all had a go at filling the rocky shoes that are there but my feet were too big. KT's fitted so I had better watch that south pour shot!!!

We headed into the Philidelphia museum of Art which turned out to be free on a Sunday which is a bonus. They do however make you feel guilty and ask if you would like to contribute, if we were alone the answer would have been no but seeming we were in company we gave a $1 each, the usual cost being $10.

They had some very good pieces of art. The sunflowers and the Water lilies to mention a few. I preferred the sculptures though which housed the Thinker and many others i think its amazing the detail they can get into the metal. We did ask the question as to the authenticity of certain items like the Sunflower as you could go right up to it and you could of touched it if no one was looking (of course we didn't if any officials are reading) but it's amazing that after all the security checks in the US that you could get only millimeters from these pieces of art that are worth a fortune.

After an hour or so it was a walk across to the other side of the City to see the second world war Becuna Submarine the and U.S.S Olympia war boat. In my opinion $9 well spent. You got to go into the sub and walk around the middle deck getting a real feel for the conditions the sailors were in. However I wouldn't have liked to have slept on top of the torpedos like they did. I also think that I would have to be captain as his digs weren't too shabby. The boat was a bit more luxurious and I think it was probably a cruise liner that got converted into a gun ship looking at the decor and space etc.

Well tomorrow we will be donning our walking boots and heading for the national park in Phili. A brisk 7 to 10 miles is scheduled in and then maybe a bit of shopping in the Mall. the park that we are going to has wild deer, however i don't think they will be that wild as they are rumored to come up to you for food.

I think all that is left to say for now is goodnight and we hope you all enjoy work tomorrow!
