Nightmare NZ - But i love it

Ok so yes i made my flight to NZ, i checked in at my hostel which was fine then went down to get my free dinner which was sooo small that even Jessica wouldnt have been full! he he Anyway had an early night thought i should catch up on some sleep from the 3 hours i had last night!

Next day i went to a $2 BBQ at Mission Bay which was great as i manage to meet some great people from all over and we had such a wicked group! We then all played touch rugby - as you can imagine i was pretty rubbish at this but they nicely involved me and i got to kick the ball.  First kick was fine then second time i missed then third time it ended up in the pond - so as you can imagine i wasnt asked to kick again! However the one time i managed to catch the ball i was running so fast that my body couldnt keep up with my feet and i was running straight for the goal - as you can guess no one ever covered me.  But i just couldnt do it and i landed flat on my face!! Oh yes, great way to start getting to know people, i thought.  The guys said i should have dove a bit closer to the goal!! Was very funny!  After that as tradition is known, we had a beer was only meant to be one beer and it turned into an all night session! Was one of the best nights i have had, we all went to a club dancing on the pool tables.  Then on our journey back we were being very silly and went into a kebab van and helped with the cooking - kind of and pretending to drive the van - pics will be up asap - they are quality.  However this is the reason that i missed my Magic bus which took me to the Bay of Islands.....

The next morning i was meant to wake up at 7am and woke up at 8am, Damn.  So went to reception and the tour guide was there and asked to be put onto todays tour as i missed my bus.  Saw all my mates on the trip who obviously didnt expext to see me and the tour guide gave me alot of stick all day for missing my bus.  Went on a trip to Piha beach and we went to a waterfall which was freezing cold - like knifes going in you - had to go in as i was guarenteed for my hangover to be gone by 12! Had a really fun day and chilled out in the evening as i MUST catch my bus tomorrow.  The FAB tour guide who works for Stray asked me if i would have wished i had booked with them (as i booked with Magic) and i said yes! So he rung a few people up and has moved me onto the Stray bus for free, which is awesome as all my mates are on there really made my day and was well worth missing my bus!

YEAH!! Caught my bus to the Bay of Islands where i met my dads mate Brian - our old neighbour who lives in KeriKeri (Where Tom Shipton moved to - if you knew him) and we took a boat trip around the islands and saw dolphins jumping up and whales which was very cool.  Then the next day we chilled out went to a festival and some of the most beautiful views.  Today i have just come back from a trip and found some of my mates on there, which was very cool.  We walked through a rainforest, then went sand boarding down massive dunes which was awesome.  We went to Cape Reinga which is the very top of NZ and that was really very cool views were awesome.  Then we went to 90 mile beach where we drove along the beach in a coach!!

Tomorrow i head back to Auckland to carry on my trip!
