Wine and white waters!!

So Thursday comes around and it is time to say ´ciao for now´ to Bil´s. So I set off on my bus to Mendoza all by my little old self. When I arrived at the hostel I met yet another Cornish lad named Jack. I spent the afternoon in the backyard of the hostel sampling Mendozas most delicious wines. As the afternoon went on we had collected quite a crew, Murry the Scotsman and two English lads Matt and James. That night there was a futbal comp between the two hostels so I went and supported my new found friends. The pitch was hilarious, someone obviously didn´t have enough Astroturf to cover the whole pitch. I suspect the owner had gone around ripping off the corners of other peoples pitches to cover his own.

The next day I booked myself in for moonlight rafting. As we were driving there I was a bit concerned as there was a massive storm and the roads were covered in water and I´m not exaggerating. ´Why on earth are we driving an hour to the top of some mountain when we could just raft down the road´. Anyway we got to the top and put on our life jackets and helmets (it seems they had run out of wet suits). We waited until midnight, got in our little boats and were thrown down the pitch black river (the full moon thing wasn´t helping much with all that cloud cover). I met a crew of Sweedish students and we spent the rest of the night dancing around the fire to some quality regatron (yes, yes its growing on me more everyday). As the sun came up we got in our bus and drove back down to the hostel where everyone else was still drinking and being merry. It was a quality night!!!
