Stupidly we booked flights back in London. So rather than making our way down to Chile, we had to go all the way back up to Cuzco, where we flew into Lima and then into Santiago.

Although it worked to our advantage because there were still things we had not seen in Lima. We got to go to the zoo and see the baby hippo (first born in captivity in South America). We also went to a museum in the ´St Francis of a C.C´ church. It was interesting but also a bit eery. We did a tour of the church and saw some amazing art. There was a massive painting of the last supper with a Peruvian spin to it. They were eating guinea pig! We then got to go down into the catacombs under the church, where we saw hundreds and thousands of bones. Some were even made into pretty patterns.

We also went to a wicked bar in Cuzco. It was like we had stepped back into London for the night. It was called ´Fallen Angels´. A really funky bar where the tables were big fish tanks and had goldfish swimming around inside them.
