There was a fine Haathi parade, with the elephant Gulab Kali dressed in beautiful robes with necklaces of bells, in wonderful procession, with four young men riding upon her.
There were various food offerings along the way.
It was a spectacular spectacle.

Eleanor and I walked alongside the elephant with Govinda and his mother, then we all dined together on ekadasi food in Govindas restaurant.
Ananga Manjari said meeting Jugannath Mishra again had unbalanced her. She had never realised before this that he had been in love with her.
She couldn’t even sleep well at night anymore.
And so I realized that Ananga Manjari had a yearning for my beloved.
