Where I stayed
The Black Prince
They sat up on a cafe rooftop and he kissed her.
He was a good kisser she said.
It was another windy day so again we had to postpone snorkelling in the lagoon.
We went with Paul and Lou for brunch at the Jasmine, such a great cafe for hanging out in, and that we stayed there most of the day.
Joseph was texting me trying to persuade me to to go off somewhere alone with him.
He said he was not like a 19 year old anymore, not like Oneness, into game playing simply for a one night stand
Samir came over to talk with us and I confessed to him that a couple of men were trying to lure me into being sexual with them.
Samir was adamant that these men should show me they really cared for me and not push me into anything. He said he thought of me a lot himself and I should move to Dahab and let him care for me. Though his feelings may have been genuine his teeth were bad! He told me he was 46 but to me he looked much older.
Once he had gone Lou told me that Samir was actually a married man.
The Jasmine was fun to be in, reminding me of days back in Kathmandu, and all that sociable cafe life there.
Lou, Liz and I did a spot of dancing to some good Arab fusion music, and the children spread lots of cushions on the floor on which to do hand stands and rolly pollies.
The children wanted to see the puppies up by the lighthouse so I said I'd take them, and Liz ended up coming too.
I felt like I did want attention from a man, the little I had got felt somehow addictive. But I was put off by Joseph's pressure to be alone with him, and Oneness and Ati had now gone away on some trip.
