We had a full lovely day at the campsite 'Foca', which was especially great for the children.
It began with a swimming lesson for Rosina in the morning, the time of which I got roped into an exercise class.
There were varying activities and fun to be had with the Baby Dance team, who were lovely youngsters from Italy, like Daniel of Florence, and Rudolfo. There was general playfulness around the pool.
Daniel pushed Ellie in the water and was swimming after her, trying to get her to join in the diving lessons that Rosina was now involved in.
There was a ball throwing game to win an aperitif and a kayak tournament that Rudolfo persuaded me to join in.
The kayak man who had noticed us on our days at the thermal river, having taken his clients there, was happy to see me. There had always been smiles and waves between us. But my kayaking was not fast enough. I got beaten in my race by a pretty blonde young Dutch girl.
"At least you didn't fall in the water" said an Italian to me, who then on his turn fell in the water.
I got back to the frolics at the pool with the dancing team.
It was such a fun day, and to cap it we had more restaurant meals, for both lunch and the evening dinner, lots of skin protection on us this time against the mossies, then more nighttime Baby Dance, followed by a magic show and then more copying the actions dancing, but this time for adults.
Daniel tried to pull Ellie up for a dance with him, but she refused, so he did lots of dancing with Rosina instead.
Our time in Sardinia was nearly over now.
Eleanor was saying we should stay forever, which I liked the sound of.
