We tried breakfast at the Pushkar Hotel, but oh yuk, the vegetable cutlet was so bad, just one taste of it and I had to send it back to the kitchen.
The standard of food in Pushkar was so poor which was a pity, because this was such an idyllically pretty place.

Instead we moved on, to the Sunset Café, in its lovely setting overlooking the lake, which was right by the side door to our hotel room.
There we could sit in the open air while being entertained by the music of folk musicians.
I had a reasonable enough banana porridge there.
It was there that we came across some snake charmers with their baskets of cobra's and watched their interesting scenario.

Yvone came round with a stringed instrument he had bought, which let out such a screeching and was just too repulsive. One of the hotel men came over to have a go, but could not get a decent sound out of it either.
He said it was not a real instrument.
It was just a duplicate made for the tourists.

I had some fun with Jai, as he took me by the hand, and led me in an exploration all over the hotel.
