The sea was mild and there were no waves for Andy to surf, so he and Jai had another sandcastle building session, while I swam.
At midday I sat in the restaurant with my cream of tomato soup, writing letters and postcards, all of which Jai signed.
The fish pond at the Curry Bowl was being cleaned, and we saw there had been eels in it, lurking in the depths. Jai watched all this for ages with fascination.
We returned to the beach where Andy got his chance to surf, I swam in the sea and Jai played in the sand, the same formula.
Later, we found a restaurant showing videos, full of young people, one film on surfing, and the other film being 'Gladiator' about a man who takes up boxing.
For once there were no mossies bothering us in the night.
