Anyway, that is yet another short break over with for me, I breathed a regretful sigh landing at Luton to a lovely grey sky, delayed trains and a baggage conveyor that would move for 30cm and then stop for 15 seconds.... welcome to England!
Before I forget, just a few lasting words to summarise my time in Morocco - wild flowers, oranges, strawberries, tangine, souqs, sand dunes, men in cafes, women in head dress, morning chants from the mosques...
Never again will I be so ambitious when it comes to travel distances over a short period of time. I felt like a Japanese tourist on a really tight time schedule, only really able to get a very brief taste of a few touristy area's. It was not unlike the mission that I made from the Baltic States last year to get through to Croatia and I didn't much enjoy that too much either. I enjoy slow and peaceful travel the most and this trip has simply proven that point yet again.
Finally, I have returned absolutely full of travel inspiration and I will see a lot more of North Africa. Yes, I realise that Morocco is not representative of North Africa but it is an untouched continent for myself, one of which I plan to explore every corner of.
