I am whiter than I have ever been and I have forgotten what the warmth of the sun feels like but daylight savings has begun and the days are getting longer! Summer might be on the way... yeeaah!!

The last month or so has been great with a series of trips to London to do "touristy things" - Maddam Tussauds, The London Eye, The Science Museum, A River Cruise, Jongleurs (comedy club), Blood Brothers... a service at Saint Pauls Cathedral and a whole heap more! All things that every tourist does in London, but I have had a few fun day's out and with "Two for One" deals things have worked out really cheap. Pretty much everything in London can be done as a "Two for One", it really is the way to go and I wouldn't waste my money paying full price.

I spent a great weekend with Colin and Cindy, Evie and Molly (family friends) in Castle Cary watching the Commonwealth Games and walking "Zinzan" (Jack Russell pup.... not the former All Black!) and catching up on what's been going on. Colin was keen to see me brush off my cycling skills and despite the lousy weather and the fact that I have been on the bike for a good 12 months, I was keen. We persisted with the plan and drove to Glastonbury to pick up a bike from Cindy's brother for me to ride. The bike would have been a beauty in its day, a nice old vintage fixed wheel racing bike (yes really really old!) but I don't think it had been maintained for at least the last decade! Given the state of the bike and the weather we did the logical thing really - hauled the bike into the car, drove to the nearest intersection (500m down the road), returned the bike and went to the pub for the afternoon!

So, there you go another great month gone by and a few more photo's to add to the collection.
