Spent the night in Marina del Ray after the flight from Boston. As usual, no sleep the night before...so we were exhausted when we arrived. But slept for 14 solid hours and now are rested for the flight to Hong Kong (16 hours), then 3-hour connection there and short flight to Bangkok.

Cold (relatively) here in southern CA - everyone is wearing coats and gloves. And I only have my SE Asia wardrobe. But it is mid-90's right now in Bangkok so I will be warm soon enough.
