Yeah, we just got here but there seems to be a ton to do, so when I do some of it youŽll be the first to know! Wink!

Okay, well the city is a little bigger than it appears on a map, but dont take it from me, just walk the 10 miles yourself sometime and see. So here I am with a fractured right foot, 30,000 blisters, and people are asking me for money! What the heck. So tonight, we were eating dinner at this restaurant in the center of town and since the weather was nice, we decided to eat outside. Big Mistake! Now I may come off as a pompous butt by saying this, but I absolutely hate it when people come up to you when you are eating hold out their hands and ask for money. This city isnt even that poor. At least not compared to so many other places IŽve been. Oh, and before you stop reading when a kid is walking down the street with his parents, who are well dressed and pushing a new baby stroller, and runs up to you and asks for money and when you tell him no he runs back to his parents telling them you said no, I think theres a problem. I dunno though, because somehow I still feel like a jerk telling the kid to go away. Anyways, whew, today we got into Medoza around 8 in the morning, and somehow after driving 12 hours west we still havent crossed a time zone. The hostal we are staying at is way out of the way, but its kinda nice because we are the only ones here, and the staff is really friendly. Basically all we did today is walk around the city visiting the parks, and we walked way out of the city as well to climb a hill that from one side you can see all of Mendoza and from the other side you see the Andes Mountains. ItŽs really a beautiful site, and well worth the walk. On our way back from the Hill of the Glory we decided following the roads was taking to long so we just booked it down the hill. Well, it was interesting to say the least. The ground was more like sand than rock, so we really skied down the hills in our shoes trying not to fall into a wicked thorn bush or onto broken glass. Not the smartest idea IŽve ever had, but fun none the less. Now weŽre just chilln tryin to figure out what we are going to do for the next week, but I definately see paragliding in my near future. Chau!
