Exhausted, we rolled out of bed an hour after the alarm went off, because the motion man failed to put things into motion! Really though, everybody was fine with it, but we were a little late to the park our second day. We went to the new Animal Kingdom park, and it was the only park that none of us had ever been too. Upon arriving we headed straight for the Everest Expedition roller coaster just like all fifty thousand other visitors that day. We grabbed our fast passes (which is an interesting conbobulation itself) and headed out to see some animals on the Kilimanjaro Safari. Lions, elephants, wildebeests, giraffes, and warthogs were among many of the different animals we got to see, but the complaint I have is that the really whisk you through the safari and never stop, even for just a moment, to let you just enjoy the animals. Anyway, back on topic. We spent the next few hours seeing shows such as the vibrant Festival of the Lion King ( which included elaborate costume, flying monkey acrobats, ballerina frolicking birds, and much more) and Finding Nemo: The Musical ( a short song filled version of the movie, which is tremendously enjoyable if not for the story, but for the puppets that are used). We also rode a few more rides, the highlight of which was probably the Everest Expedition roller coaster, which Allison and I rode twice in 20 minutes at the end of the day with the fast passes we had accumulated earlier in the day. The Animal Kingdoms aura is much different than the other parks I have been too, but it also seemed a little more crowded, but I guess that's a relative term during spring break here. At any rate, it was a great idea for a park, and I enjoyed it more than MGM personally, but it was a little more up my alley! We all a great day at the park, and after heading back to the hotel to rest a little while we took the boat over to Epcot and had dinner in little Italy before we called it a night. Even though I am tired I am tremendously excited to see what Epcot and the Magic Kingdom have in store for us tomorrow!!!
