headed for Cancun. We attempted to take a drive through Playa del
Carmen, but that ended in a dead end road, me yelling, and then me
having to drive the rest of the way to Cancun in silence. At any
rate....we didnt really see Playa del Carmen. We arrived at our Hotel in
Cancun ( Fiesta Americana) around 430 pm. It was a really nice
hotel....we were greeted with a drink, and had a nice belhop, and we had
a nice view of the water from our room. I really wanted to go right out
to the beach, but we hadn't eaten since breakfast, so we decided
instead on heading to lunch/dinner. We went to this little Cuban
restaraunt that was a couple blocks away from our hotel. The food was
average, and definately over-priced, but this is Cancun.
After dinner Aislynn and I made our way back slowly to the hotel stopping in a
few liquor stores to look for presents. When we got back I think the
day just kind of caught up to us, because we decided to just lay in bed
and watch some TV on the laptop. So, the evening was spent enjoying a
few episodes of Bones Season 1, having a beer or two, and crashing out
at some hour I can not recall.
