Well its on to pahia my next destination tomorow, today I had a look around Auckland art gallery and came across some brilliant paintings by charle f goldie, I have uploaded some of his pics here. They don't do the real life paintings any justice though! Well I can't wait to be off tomorow! Feels like iv'e been ages in Auckland. Be nice to see what the rest of NZ has to offer. Feeling much better now and i'm gonna go for a couple of drinks later in the bar downstairs.

Wow!
Those paintings are awesome. The third one is just like a photograph, how on earth can someone paint so well to capture the shine in her hair and everything?!? Amazing! I think the first one is my favorite though, definitley.

Glad you're up and about and catching up with a bit of culture before you leave Aucland. Definitely going to use the link for the gallery, the paintings were truly remarable works of art, captured the charactes and their spirit! Whoever painted the old guys markings on his face is a true artist, even working their design in with his wrinkles! Amazing stuff... Have a good trip on your next leg!
