Maun to Kasane is the longest drive we have had so far - 650 km taking 10 hours.  Had to go through a foot & mouth station and have all shoes treated, then arrived early evening.

Next day we were picked up in an open truck at 5.45am, wrapped up in sleeping bags, and ready to explore Chobe National Park.  Highlight was watching the herds of elephants crossing the road right in front of us.

In the afternoon we did a game cruise, which was excellent.  Got up close to hippos, elephants bathing, and crocodiles.
