Forgot to tell you in our rush to say we were moving on what a great time we had in SF. The trolley cars are great, we even got to hang off the sides as it was careering up and down those hills.
Apparently the brakes are made of plywood and need replacing every 3 days - you can actually smell them burning!!!!!
The one thing that is starting to get on our nerves in America is the amount of homeless, spaced out people constantly asking for money - do we look like we've got any to spare???????
Santa Cruz is lovely - our hotel is right on Monterrey Bay, we can see the sealions under the boardwalk at night.
Yep, lots of solid gone ex hippies all around but not alot of love..........
Moving on to Santa Barbara tomorrow - talk later.

Sounds like you're having a great time, how long is your bus journey to Santa Barbara?
Its rather sad about all the poor people there considering the wealth there is in the USA, so maybe little old England is'nt so bad after all. Anyway you just 'gotta keep moving on I guess'
I expect the tans are topping up nicely by now, while we now have rain again....
